MODERN CALLIGRAPHY

All materials provided and all levels of experience welcome! This introductory workshop will cover supply usage, my unique style of the lowercase alphabet, letter connection, and flourishing. You will leave with the materials and skills to confidently build your own calligraphy style and ability to apply those skills to countless creative projects. We'll also send you home with a few surprise goodies!

Materials Included:

-Oblique holder, nib, ink, paper, instructional materials, & a few surprises!

I also teach intermediate/advanced calligraphy workshops upon request. These workshops dive into ink mixing, advanced flourishing, and explore different types of calligraphy nibs.

WATERCOLOR

These workshops are beginner friendly, but also a great learning experience for practicing artists. We will start with learning about watercolor materials, practice a few different watercolor techniques, and end the workshop with a final painting.

Subject matters for watercolor workshops currently include: florals, houseplants, lettering, & mountain landscapes (each workshop will focus on one of these themes)

You will leave with:
-A kit of watercolor materials (paint palette, paintbrush, & paper) to use for further practice!
-A final watercolor painting
-A few surprises courtesy of Meadowlark & Co

PRIVATE

All of the Meadowlark workshops can be adapted for private groups, such as work events, bachelorette parties, bridal showers, & small groups. We provide a lower rate per person, depending on the number of people attending, and work with you to plan a special workshop to fit your group. Depending on your preference, private workshops can be held at my Lawrence studio or in a separate space of your choosing.
